Kansas City Police are investigating the second homicide that occurred on Friday. One person died as a result of a shooting in the 2100 block area of E. 24th Terrace, according to police. The shooting occurred shortly after 1:00 p.m. A person of interest is in custody and police are not looking for any other suspects. Investigators believe an Uber vehicle was called to the scene by the person of interest who left the scene before police arrived. It’s the second fatal shooting since Friday morning.
