The hunting and shooting community has long supported firearm safety training for young Americans. To ensure our children receive the best instruction in firearm safety, HB 2304 will be heard at 9:00 a.m. in Room 346-S of the House Federal and State Affairs Committee next Tuesday, February 21.
HB 2304 establishes curriculum guidelines for a standardized firearm safety education program, based on the NRA Eddie Eagle Gun Safety Program, the Hunter Education Program offered by the U.S. Department of Wildlife and Parks Kansas or currently certified education in schools for such purposes.
Please use our action button to email the committee urging them to support appropriate firearm safety education in our schools by supporting HB 2304.
