Lawrence Police are enlisting the public’s help in finding a man who was last seen nearly two weeks ago, according to a brief social media post from the department last Friday.

Jamel Dorison Reed, 38, is 5-foot-11, pictured above. A more cropped version of the image is below.
“Mr. Reed’s family are concerned and say it’s not like him to be unreachable for so long,” according to the police department post, which says the family hasn’t seen Reed since Feb. 6.
“Our investigators are tracking his last known whereabouts but are requesting the assistance of the public,” the post continued. “If you’ve seen Mr. Reed, please call the Lawrence Kansas Police.”
The non-emergency dispatch number for LPD is 785-843-0250. No additional information about Reed or this situation was available just after midnight on Saturday.
