Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Mike Hilton is feeling confident ahead of Sunday’s AFC Championship game against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Toward the end of last Sunday’s Bengals-Bills game, he was excited on the sideline as the Bengals were about to move forward and said, “See you in Burrowhead” to a few of his teammates.
Hilton is saying this because of how the Bengals went to Arrowhead Stadium last year and erased a 21-3 deficit to lead the Bengals to a 27-24 win. The win sent the Bengals to the Super Bowl before they lost to the Los Angeles Rams.
Chiefs security Justin Reid took note of that comment and didn’t appreciate it.
“I think we’ve all seen it. We’re going to let our game on the field speak for us,” said Reid.
Looks like he’s tired of losing to the Bengals. Over the past two seasons, the Chiefs have lost three consecutive games to the Bengals, including on December 4 by three, 27-24.
They will be looking to end that streak Sunday night at 6:30 PM ET. It will be broadcast on CBS.
