Manor ISD appoints Dr. Tami Williams-Hill as Interim Superintendent

MANOR, TX (KXAN) — The Manor Independent School District Board of Regents voted unanimously on Monday to appoint Dr. Tami Williams-Hill as Interim Superintendent. She takes on the duties of Superintendent and School Principal Michael Perkins. He took over after the departure of previous Superintendent Dr. Andre Spencer in December.

Williams-Hill joined Manor ISD in September 2022 as HR Director. According to a county press release, she has worked at Austin ISD in a variety of roles. She has a Ph.D. at the Texas State University School of Excellence. She also holds a master’s degree in educational administration, a master’s degree in social work, and a bachelor of arts degree in social work from Texas State University.

The district says Williams-Hill is “delighted to serve as interim director of schools and looks forward to continuing to work with academics, staff and the community.”

JG Consulting, a group that assists in finding executives, is assisting Manor ISD in finding a permanent superintendent.
