Meet Jared “Big Baby” Anderson: The Man Most Suspected Is America’s Next Great Heavyweight

Jared Anderson moved to Houston to be closer to his team. He is undefeated, all by knockout, and has two title belts.

HOUSTON. Jared Anderson, 23, is a phenomenal 6-foot-4 player that the boxing world is buzzing about.

Rumor has it that he will reign as a heavyweight one day.

Anderson now calls Houston home after moving here more than two years ago from Toledo, Ohio to be closer to his team, including co-promoter Antonio Leonard.

It paid off for Anderson, nicknamed “The Big Kid”.

He remains undefeated, 13-0, all by knockout. He has two title belts thanks to his fists that act like sledgehammers.

In past sparring sessions, he has trained superstars such as Shakur Stevenson and Tyson Furry. In the next 23 months, Anderson will likely come for Fury’s title.

What is his secret? There’s nothing here.

“Just natural ability,” Anderson said. “I don’t lift any weights or anything like that. So it’s not like I go out there and try.”

Right now it’s good to be Anderson, but the goal is to be great.

For Big Baby, the fun has just begun.
