A man who was reported missing on Friday was found safe, according to Lawrence police.

Jamel Dorison Reed, 38, was last seen by his family on Feb. 6, according to a brief social media post from the police department late Friday evening.
“Mr. Reed’s family are concerned and say it’s not like him to be unreachable for so long,” the initial police department post read.
On Sunday afternoon, LPD posted on social media that “Mr. Reed has been found and is safe. Thanks for all the calls and info.”
Further details were not immediately available on Sunday.
