HOUSTON (KIAH) — The weather has been fine for several days with low humidity, clear skies and comfortable daytime temperatures. However, the next round of rain in Houston falls over the weekend.
It won’t rain all weekend, but if you have plans to go outside on Saturday or Sunday, it might affect you. As it looks now, rain is most likely in the second half of Saturday, until Saturday evening and in the first half of Sunday. During this time, 0.5 to 1.5 inches of rain fell across most of southeast Texas.
A cold front bringing rain should pass after Sunday, leaving us with relatively calm weather for most of next week.
Meanwhile, the wildest weather across the country will be in California with numerous strong storm systems bringing strong winds and heavy rain, as well as massive amounts of snow in the mountains. NOAA suggests more than 10 inches of rain could fall in several parts of California over the next 7 days.
