Police made 12 arrests

The arrest records published in The Port Lavaca Wave newspaper are public information. Any indication of arrest does not mean that the person in question has been convicted of a crime. All those arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.

Local law enforcement made 26 arrests from Monday, January 9 to Sunday, January 15, as follows:

Monday, January 9

Da Sei Htoo, 24, from Port Lawaki, was arrested by the Port Lawaki Police Department (PLPD) for assault in which a family member was injured.

John Christopher Lott, 50, of Victoria, was arrested by the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) on nine counts of stealing property worth at least $100 but less than $750.

David Richard Jr., 37, of Port Victoria, was arrested by the CCSO on a warrant for two counts of stealing property worth at least $100 but less than $750.

Jacob Nicholas Perez, 30, of Victoria, was arrested by the CCSO for drunk driving during a second offense, failure to appear in court and lack of liability insurance.

Tuesday, January 10

David Charles Decker, 41, from Victoria, was arrested by the CCSO on a warrant for driving with an invalid license and an expired registration.

Mario Alberto Degollado Sr., 58, from Port Lavaca, was arrested by the CCSO on a speeding warrant.

James Gabriel Morales, 38, from Victoria, was arrested by the PLPD for trespassing.

Tanya Lisette Morales, 47, from Port Lavaca, was arrested by the CCSO for possession of a controlled substance, punishment group 1-b greater than or equal to four grams but less than 200 grams, and on a warrant of public intoxication, refusal to stand trial and strike fixture or road terrain for less than $200 damage.

Richard Gerald Parry Jr., 34, of Port Lavac, was arrested by the PLPD on a warrant for two counts of public drunkenness and two counts of failing to appear in court.

Lance Russell Toler, 63, of Ines, was arrested by the CCSO on a warrant for making terrorist threats with the intent to raise fears of serious bodily harm.

Wednesday, January 11

Dean Dylan Tyler, 24, of Port Lavaca, was arrested by the CCSO for failing a drug test or using a tampering device, and on a parole violation warrant for possession of a controlled substance, penalty group 1, of less than one gram.

Thursday, January 12

Chauncey Poindexter, 44, of Seadrift, was arrested by the CCSO for drunk driving.

Lorina Dean Martinez, 30, of Port Lavaca, was arrested by the PLPD on a warrant for possession of less than two ounces of marijuana and possession of a Penalty Group 2 controlled substance of less than one gram.

Friday, January 13

Dustin Cody Jackson, 23, of Port Lavaca, was arrested by the PLPD on a speeding warrant.

José Luis Lozano Jr., 27, of Port Lavaca, was arrested on a PLPD warrant for driving while his license was suspended.

Darin Ortiz, 35, from Port Lavaca, was arrested by the CCSO for possession of less than two ounces of marijuana.

Noel Pineda Jr., 22, of Victoria, was arrested by the CCSO on three counts of speeding, two counts of failing to appear, driving with a four-year-old child without a seatbelt, driving with an eight-year-old child unbelted, driving without a driver’s license and driving without liability insurance .

Jacqueline Ann Shanahan, 42, from Victoria, was arrested by the CCSO on a warrant for theft of $100 or more but less than $750.

Emily Caitlin Uresti, 29, from Port Lavac, was arrested by the Seadrift Police Department (SDPD) for robbing a building or covering up a theft.

Saturday, January 14

Victor Manuel Cuellar Jr., 41, from Victoria, was arrested by the CCSO on a warrant for speeding and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Daniel Moya, 59, from Port Lavaca, was arrested by the PLPD on a warrant for terrorist threats to induce fear of imminent serious bodily injury.

Patrick William Pelech, 34, of Port Lavaca, was arrested by the CCSO on a warrant for possession of a dangerous drug, possession of a controlled substance, Sentence Group 3 of less than 28 grams, possession of a controlled substance, Sentence Group 1-b. less than one gram and possession of a 1-b controlled substance greater than or equal to one gram but less than 4 grams.

Anthony Perez, 20, from Victoria, was arrested by the CCSO for speeding and failing to appear in court.

Jamien Ray Vasquez, 28, of Port Lavaca, was arrested by the CCSO on a warrant for two counts of failing to appear in court, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving with a child unbelted.

Sunday, January 15

Gregory Dale Meade, 62, of Beaumont, was arrested by the CCSO on a warrant for assault with bodily harm.

Noel González Resendiz, 33, of Port Lavaca, was arrested by the CCSO for driving under the influence of alcohol with a blood alcohol content of 15% or less and an accident resulting in no more than $200 worth of damage to the vehicle.
