Tampa, Fla (February 25, 2023) – The South Florida Bulls return to Tampa on Sunday as they take on Northwestern at noon.
The Bulls ended their 5-game stretch on the road on Thursday, defeating Stetson in a 4-2 thriller.
The Ireland Simme gave the Bulls the sealing point of the game to improve South Florida’s record to 3-4 on the season.
USF will be looking to get back to .500 in what will be their first game at the USF Varsity Tennis Courts since defeating Florida A&M 7-0 in a rainy day on Feb. 3.
Northwestern comes to town with a 4-4 record, with their last game ending in a 5-2 victory over Kansas State last Sunday. Both the Bulls and Wildcats will be looking for back-to-back wins for the second time in their seasons.
After Sunday’s game, USF will play two more games at home, against Louisiana Tech and then Toledo, before returning to the road.
