SAN ANTONIO – According to the San Antonio police, the suspect was arrested a month after the man was attacked and robbed on the northwest side.

Court records show that 31-year-old Baldemar Dillon Valdez was charged with aggravated robbery in an incident that occurred on December 4 at an apartment complex in the 200 block of W. Broadview Drive, near Bandera Road.

Police said the incident occurred after the 71-year-old male victim drove Valdez to the Jack in the Box restaurant at the Medical Center and then to an apartment complex on Broadview.

Upon arriving at the compound, Valdez demanded the victim’s wallet and bag and hit him several times, according to the arrest warrant affidavit.

The man was wounded in the face, head and ribs, as a result of which he went to the hospital.
