HOUSTON (KIAH) — People weren’t the only ones affected by the weather after Tuesday’s tornado.
The Humane Society of Houston reports that several dozen cats were rescued from a massive hurricane.
Veterinary staff and animal care team helped dozens of furry friends arriving from the Pasadena Animal Shelter, which was hit hard by the hurricane.
Around 10:00 pm, the cats arrived at the shelter and were given food and water. Before they are available for adoption, they will undergo a medical examination.
