WANRack, LLC (“WANRack”), a privately held provider of fiber networks headquartered in Kansas City, announces the completion of its acquisition of KwiKom Communications (“KwiKom”).
WANRack’s core business is based on the development of private fiber networks for the K-12 educational space, but it recently began expanding its offerings to include public-private partnerships, community anchor institutions, and wireless backhaul. The Kansas City-based company has active networks in 23 states and counting. This acquisition adds Fiber to The Home (FTTH) and Business Class Services capabilities to the portfolio.
Founded in 2010, KwiKom’s portfolio includes residential and business fiber and fixed wireless services. The ever-growing landline wireless network spans over 30,000 square miles in 75 counties. KwiKom’s network serves homes and businesses in multiple markets in Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska and Oklahoma.
