Most sports fans in Kansas City know Lamar Hunt, the late founder of the Chiefs who also helped found the American Football League and Major League Soccer. They also probably know his son, Clark Hunt, who is the current owner of the Chiefs and MLS club FC Dallas.
Now, there’s a new member of the Hunt family making headlines.
Gracie Hunt, Clark’s daughter, has started making a name for herself in the world of beauty pageants and on social media.

Who is Grace Hunt?
Gracie is the daughter of Chiefs owner Clark Hunt and the granddaughter of Lamar Hunt, the founder of the franchise.
According to her personal website, she works in public relations for the team while pursuing a master’s degree in sports management from the University of Kansas. She can be seen working on game days at Arrowhead Stadium.
She has also participated in many beauty contests. In 2021 she was named Miss Kansas USA.
The 23-year-old has also amassed a large following on social media. He has more than a million followers on Facebook and more than 200,000 on Instagram, where his bio states that he “knows more about soccer and fútbol than most guys”.

As his bio suggests, one of his earliest passions was football. In an interview with People in 2021, he discussed his dreams of playing at the top level before injuries derailed his career.
“Football was my first love,” he said. “I wanted to play in college. I won the championship when I was in high school with my high school team, and I also played in the club. After suffering four concussions, that was a dream that I could no longer pursue, which is really hard when you work all your life to be good at something.I had to find a new dream.
After being forced to change her ways, she followed in her mother’s footsteps when she started competing in pageants. Her mother, Tavia, herself won Miss Kansas USA in 1993.
“It’s really nice to walk down a road with someone who’s been down that road before,” she told People. “He really bonded us so much.”

According to her website, Gracie Hunt now spends much of her time advocating for health and wellness, a cause that is important to her as someone who has lived with celiac disease her entire life. She has transitioned from competitions to distance running, completing two full marathons and two half marathons last year.
As she continues to pursue her career in sports management, she looks set to carry on her family’s legacy in the world of sports and beyond.
