31 Big 12 Student-Athletes named to 2022 USTFCCCA All-Academic Team

The US Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) released its academic awards for the 2022 cross country season when 15 Big 12 men and 16 women student-athletes received All-Academic recognition and nine schools. Both Oklahoma State and Texas totaled five picks in the men’s side, while Oklahoma State also led the women’s side with six picks. To qualify for All-Academic distinction, student-athletes must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.25 on a 4.0 scale and finish in the top 25 (or 10 percent) at the NCAA Regional Championships or as an All-American at the NCAA Championships . The conference also saw seven men’s programs named All-Academic Teams as Baylor, Kansas, Kansas State, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Texas and Texas Tech all qualified. On the women’s side, nine programs earned the honor of being named All-Academic Teams as Baylor, Iowa State, Kansas, Kansas State, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Texas, Texas Tech and West Virginia earned the honor. To qualify for All-Academic distinction, teams must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, including the most recent grading period.
