Readers of the post may have already suspected it, but new national rankings say Johnson County is one of the best places to live in America.
Data analytics website Niche has released its latest list of the “best counties to live in” in every U.S. state
Johnson County earned first place in Kansas and also reached number three overall in the country, behind Los Alamos County, NM, and Oconee County, Ga.
The rankings compiled publicly available data, including from sources like the latest US Census and the FBI’s Uniform Crime Report, along with millions of reviews from niche users and ranked counties in a number of categories.
Johnson County received an A+ in the categories of “Public Schools”, “Lodging” and “Good for Families”. The lowest category grade was a B for “Diversity”.
Incidentally, Niche rated St. Louis County as the best county to live in Missouri, which ranked 25th overall.
