MANKATO, Minnesota — Minnesota state sophomores Harrison Braudis AND Freemason Muller they were named to the College Sports Communications Academic All-District Team.
To be eligible for the CSC Academic All-District Team, a student-athlete must be a key starter or reserve with at least a 3.5 cumulative GPA at their institution. Nominated athletes must have attended at least 50% of the team’s games at the nominated position. No student-athlete is eligible until they have completed a full calendar year at their current institution and are at least in their sophomore academic and athletic year.
A guard from Overland Park, Kan., Harrison Braudis he played in 25 games this season, making 12 starts. He averaged 10.8 points and 3.1 rebounds per game while shooting 46.6% from the field. He had 20+ points in three games last season, including a career-high 26 points against Bethany Lutheran. He has a GPA of 3.72 and is majoring in finance.
A forward from Petersburg, Ill., Freemason Muller he played in all 29 games for the Mavericks, making 10 starts. He scored a season-high nine points against Bethany Lutheran. Against UMary, Muller grabbed 10 rebounds. Muller possesses a 3.51 GPA and is majoring in biology.
Minnesota State finished its 2022-23 season with a 17-12 record.
