After ten years, one of the Ninza Sushi locations is on the move

After ten years, Ninza Sushi it’s on the move.

The original location at 8428 W 13th St. N. will have a new location in February. They will be moving across the street to 8641 W 13th St. N. into the space formerly occupied by Vietnom Nom.

The owners are hoping to move in during the week of February 20th. They will share more details in the coming week. Once a date is announced, they will be closed for two days to move everything from one venue to another.

The current storefront on 13th Street has limited kitchen space, so the move will give Ninza more room to work. They will be adding hibachi to the menu along with all the specialty rolls that can be found on the east side of Ninza. The owners are also excited about the restaurant’s new layout and the addition of a patio.

It was quite the story for Ninza, which originally opened on February 25, 2013. Since then, the restaurant has expanded to three locations with another Ninza Sushi at 306 N. Rock Road along with Blue Fin Sake Bar & Sushi at 255 Washington .

Over the past decade, they’ve gone through a lot beyond expansion. The west side location was closed for eleven months following an accidental electrical fire that destroyed the restaurant in 2017. They’ve weathered a pandemic, lockdown, and staffing shortages. And over the last decade, they’ve worked hard and should be proud of how far they’ve come.

When I know of an official move-in date, I’ll be sure to share it with all of you.
