Broadcast schedule released for the 2023 baseball season

MANHATTAN, Kan.

K-State’s upcoming 2023 baseball season will include 26 home games and nine road games televised on Big 12 Now on ESPN+. In total, ESPN+ will carry 42 K-State baseball telecasts this season, home and away.

Big 12 Now on ESPN+ is accessible to subscribers via the ESPN+ tab of the latest version of the ESPN app, on the web, iPhone, iPad, AppleTV (Generation 3 & 4), Android Handset, Roku, Chromecast, FireTV, Xbox, Playstation, Oculus Go and Samsung connected TVs (Tizen). ESPN+ is available for $9.99 a month or $99.99 a year or can be bundled with Disney+ and Hulu for $13.99 a month. Cancel anytime. All 58 fights can be heard on K-State Sports Network’s flagship radio station KMAN (1350 AM, 93.3 FM, 93.7 FM) with free online audio streaming via kstatesports.com.

Five regular season games — March 24 vs. Oklahoma, March 31 vs. West Virginia, April 28-29 vs. Texas Tech, and May 18 vs. Texas Tech — and the entire postseason will air on KMAN and select radio stations on K-State Sports as well Network. Brian Smoller and former K-State baseball and Big 8 Coach of the Year Mike Clark return for their 15th season as the primary broadcast television team, with Smoller and Matt Walters returning for their 25th year as the primary radio voices. Former K-State baseball players Trevor Hurley, Terrance Spurlin and former Big 8 Player of the Year Craig Wilson will also be part of K-State’s baseball radio and television broadcast rotation. The Wildcats kick off their 2023 season in the Lone Star State, starting with a four-game series at Stephen F. Austin Feb. 17-20. Following the series in Nacogdoches, K-State will face #1 LSU Sam Houston and Iowa in the Karbach Round Rock Classic at Dell Diamond Field. The Wildcats’ home opener is scheduled for Friday, March 3 against Army at Tointon Family Stadium. K-State’s home schedule includes Big 12 foes Oklahoma, West Virginia, Texas Tech and TCU, as well as non-conference foes Army, Stonehill, Youngstown State, St. Thomas, Nebraska, Creighton, Wichita State and Southeast Missouri State.
