Cincinnati Children’s competes with other hospitals in playoff cities in the donation challenge

Cincinnati Children’s Hospital is having a small competition ahead of the AFC championship. The hospital is taking on three other children’s hospitals in a “donation challenge” to see who can raise the most support for their team’s local children’s hospital. Each hospital represents a city that is also home to one of the four remaining playoff football teams: the Cincinnati Bengals, Kansas City Chiefs, Philadelphia Eagles, and San Francisco 49ers. Cincinnati Children’s joined Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Children’s Mercy Kansas City and Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford in the friendly fundraising contest called Touchdown for Kids. Fans can visit the Children of Cincinnati website. Donations will be accepted until midnight on Monday 13 February. Each hospital is trying to raise $15,000. In honor of Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin and February Heart Month, donations to each hospital will support children’s heart research.
