Kansas City prosecutors drop assault charges – Billboard

 

Prosecutors in Kansas City, Missouri, dismissed Monday (January 23) assault charges against Tool drummer Danny Carey in an incident at the city’s airport in December 2021. Carey was arrested for a misdemeanor at Kansas City International Airport on December 12, 2021 after allegedly getting into an altercation. That evening, airport law enforcement received notice of a “disturbance between two men in an airport terminal,” resulting in Carey being arrested on a misdemeanor basis and transported to a nearby police station in the United States.
