To donate blood, people must bring:
- Blood donor card
- Or driving licence
- OR two other forms of identification required at check-in
- Individuals who are 17 years of age where permitted by state law, weigh at least 110 pounds, and are generally in good health may be eligible to donate blood.
- High school students and other donors age 18 and under must also meet certain height and weight requirements.
Once you arrive at Stuyvesant Plaza on Wednesday February 15th, you will find the Rock and Roll Up Your Sleeve event among Ta-da! and Penzey. The Red Cross continues to have an ongoing and critical need for life-saving blood in 2023 as distributions of blood components to hospitals remain higher than expected.
