U.S. Representative Tracey Mann of Kansas Selected to Serve on House Transportation and Infrastructure Subcommittee on Highways and Transit, Aviation Subcommittee, and Railroads, Pipelines, and Hazardous Materials Subcommittee .

“I am honored to serve on the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee,” Rep. Mann said. “It is vitally important that Big First be represented on these three subcommittees. We have 83,000 miles of road, seven commercial airports and more than 4,000 miles of railroad track in our district. We rely on this system to get us to work, to take the our children to school, to deliver grain, livestock and ethanol, and to connect us to the rest of the world. We have a lot of work to do. We need legislation that supports a modern and efficient highway network in America, ensuring the safe and orderly flow of people and commerce. We must reauthorize the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), prioritizing U.S. aviation infrastructure and safety programs, while incorporating new technologies. Independence. We must develop a bipartisan law on water resources development, improving ports, navigation and flood protection.We have to conduct a superv Strict supervision over the implementation of the Biden administration’s trillion-dollar infrastructure legislation to ensure hard-working taxpayer dollars go where promised, and oversight of the burdensome rules the Biden administration imposes on American manufacturers every day, such as their domain Waters of the US. The Highways and Transit Subcommittee has jurisdiction over the development of national surface transportation policy, including the construction and improvement of highway and transit facilities, research and safety programs, and the regulation of commercial motor vehicle operations .

The Aviation Subcommittee has jurisdiction over all aspects of civil aviation, including safety, infrastructure, labor, commerce, and international matters.

The Subcommittee on Railroads, Pipelines, and Hazardous Substances has jurisdiction over economic and safety regulation of railroads, the transportation of hazardous materials, and pipeline safety.
