WE WERE TOLD THAT THERE WERE SOMEWHERE BETWEEN 90 TO 100 SCHOOL BUSES FROM THE FIRST STUDENT WHICH TAKE THE FANS TO THE PARTY AT UNION STATION AND THEN BACK AGAIN. NOW, THAT SAME PROCESS WAS HAPPENING AT THE OLD PARK MALL IN OVERLAND PARK. WE WERE TOLD THAT AT THE LAST CHIEF CELEBRATES IN 2020, ABOUT 20,000 FANS TOOK THE SHUTTLE THIS YEAR. THEY EXPECTED MORE FANS GETTING ON A SHUTTLE, WALKING DISTANCE DOWN. THE CROWD GROWS AS YOU ARRIVE, I GET A LITTLE STRONGER, JUST LIKE JUST LIKE I DID ON SUNDAY EVENING. AND THEN ON THE RETURN, EVERYONE STILL EXCITED. WE DON’T CARE. WE JUST DON’T GO THERE TO CELEBRATE, Man. THE DYNASTY CONTINUES WHEN WE CAME NOW. SO NOW WE ARE OFFICIALLY. There is still no official estimate on how many people attended last week’s Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl parade and rally at Union Station. However, RideKC estimates that over 70,000 fans used their shuttle buses to participate in the parade. This is an increase from the 55,000 who used the service offered for the 2020 Super Bowl parade, RideKC said Wednesday. “Public transportation is the lifeblood of our community,” said Frank White III, CEO of KCATA. “In times of celebration and in times of challenge, RideKC connects people to opportunities, like jobs, education, healthcare, housing, and yes, Super Bowl Parades.” Approximately 130 transit buses and 300 school buses were used for the parade. Shuttle bus locations at Oak Park Mall and Worlds of Fun have provided more than 40,000 rides alone.
