The last full week of January was a busy one for Riverbank deputies, as they answered calls ranging from vandalism to theft and got drunk in public.
Deputies responded to the 5400 block of Gold Hill Drive on Monday, January 30 at 1:35 am for a family disturbance. An arrest has been reported with a subject being transported to the Stanislaus Detention Center and booked.
Deputies responded to the 3700 block of Topeka Street for a vandalism report Monday at 10:06 am; a 31-year-old man was later arrested. He was transported to the Stanislaus Detention Center and booked.
At 12:51 pm Monday, Deputies responded to the 2800 block of Topeka Street for a property find report. The property turned out to be a drug suspect and was booked as evidence to be destroyed.
At 8:50 am on Sunday, January 29, Deputies responded to the 6100 block of Tennessee Avenue for a burglary. The investigation is ongoing.
MPs responded to First Street and Stanislaus Street after a vehicle struck a light pole at 10.51pm on Sunday. The vehicle escaped but left the passenger door behind. The investigation is ongoing.
At 9.44am on Saturday 28 January MPs responded to 3400 block High Street for breaking and entering by two individuals. A 31-year-old man was charged with trespassing. The other individual was a minor and was transported to Hutton House at the request of the social worker.
At 6:29 pm Saturday, Deputies responded at Oakdale Road and Novi Drive for a lone vehicle collision into a curb.
At 8.48pm on Saturday, MPs responded to Claribel Road and Squire Wells Way for a vehicle collision. The parties involved exchanged information.
At 7.06pm on Saturday, MPs responded to the 5500 block of Chancellor Way about a missing person report. The investigation is ongoing.
At 7.53pm on Saturday, MPs responded to Ulta over the theft of property. The investigation is ongoing.
Deputies responded to Jackson and Sierra about an individual who appeared to be drunk and was yelling at passing vehicles on Saturday at 8:48 p.m. A 33-year-old man was arrested for being drunk in public. He was transported to the Stanislaus Detention Center and booked.
At 1:05 am on Friday, Jan. 27, deputies responded to an assault in which an individual was allegedly pistol-whipped after selling marijuana and demanding payment.
At 1:22 am Friday, Deputies responded to the 5300 block of Cottage Cove Drive about a family disturbance. Subjects did not cooperate with law enforcement.
Deputies responded to the 6700 block of Estelle Avenue for a vehicle into a tree on Friday at 4:59 am. A 25-year-old man was located in the area with items from the vehicle. He was arrested for driving while intoxicated. He was transported to the hospital, then to the Stanislaus Detention Center and booked.
At 12.27pm on Friday MPs replied to Lloyd Court’s 3500 block about a stolen vehicle report.
Deputies responded to the 3600 block of Santa Fe Street over a subject yelling at people in the park on Friday at 2:55 p.m. A 47-year-old man was arrested for being drunk in public. He was transported to the Stanislaus Detention Center and booked.
Later Friday at 4:07 p.m. Deputies responded to the 7000 block of Prestwick Drive about a family disturbance. One person was subsequently arrested, transported to the Stanislaus Detention Center and booked.
At 9.04pm on Friday MPs responded to the 2600 block of Stanislaus Street about a family disturbance. The person responsible was gone when the deputies arrived. A warrant has been issued for his arrest.
At 7:42 am on Thursday, January 26, Deputies responded to the 6400 block of Seventh Street about a family disturbance. It was just verbal that it was on a phone being used without permission.
At 12:27 Thursday, Deputies responded to a vehicular collision on the streets of Patterson and Oakdale. One party said they had minor injuries.
At 1:33 pm Thursday Deputies responded to the 7000 block of Firethorn Drive for a firearm stolen from an unlocked vehicle.
At 6:18 pm Thursday, Deputies responded to the 5800 block of Terminal Avenue about a family disturbance. The parties claimed it was only verbal.
MPs attempted to stop a motorcycle driving carelessly on Thursday at 8.01pm. The motorcycle escaped and was followed by a Sheriff’s Department helicopter to a location in Modesto. One subject was arrested for fleeing the residence and obstructing an investigation. The escaped motorcycle was located in the garage and towed after an impound warrant was authorized. The investigation is ongoing.
Deputies responded to the 2700 block of Topeka Street at 1:16 am Wednesday, January 25 at 1:16 am for a disturbance.
At 4.12pm on Wednesday, MPs carried out a traffic jam. The driver was charged with a suspended license and the vehicle was towed.
