State Police arrest two Star Lake individuals, closing two cases

PRESS RELEASE On February 13, 2023, State Police arrested Christopher Dattola, 36, of Star Lake, NY and Arielle D. Holloway, 30, of Star Lake, NY. Dattola was arrested on a 4th Felony Felony, Petit Larceny, Felony Possession of a Weapon 3rd Assault Weapon and Felony Possession of a Weapon Ammunition Magazine. Holloway was arrested for Petit Larceny.

On February 13, 2023, at approximately 9:32 am, Soldiers patrolled Marshall Road in the town of Fine to attempt to locate two possible suspects in a petty theft and 4th case of criminal damage that occurred at Circle K located on State Route 3, in the municipality of Fine.

On January 20, 2023, at approximately 12:39 p.m., Soldiers responded to Circle K, located on State Route 3, in the town of Fine for a criminal damage claim. An investigation established that Dattola went to Circolo K on January 20, 2023, early in the morning and attempted to enter the shop. Dattola damaged the front door and a crake but did not enter the shop.

On January 20, 2023, at approximately 6:58 p.m., the Troopers responded to Circle K about a petty theft report. An investigation determined that Dattola and Holloway entered the store, took $8.00 worth of merchandise, and went through all checkout points without paying. Dattola and Holloway fled the scene before law enforcement arrived.

On February 13, 2023, the Troopers were interviewing Dattola and Holloway regarding the petty theft and criminal damage claim at the Circle K Store. During the interview, the soldiers observed an assault rifle with a 30-round magazine.

Dattola and Holloway were arrested and transported to SP Star Lake for processing. Dattola was arraigned at the Fine Municipality Court on the charge: Misunderstanding 4th. Petit Larceny, Criminal possession of a third assault weapon and Criminal possession of a third weapon loaded with ammunition. He was released and is due to appear in court again at a later date in February

Holloway was released on a returnable ticket to appear at the Town of Fine Court for a later date in February.
