Topeka area boys’ teams will be represented by 6 schools at the state meet

The state tournament season for high school winter sports in Kansas is here.

First up is the Men’s Swimming and Diving State Championships held Thursday through Saturday at the Shawnee Mission School District Aquatic Center in Lenexa.

Here’s what you need to know.

All classes will compete in Lenexa

All grades, 6-1A, will compete at the Shawnee Mission School District Aquatic Center at 17251 W. 87th Parkway, Lenexa, 66219.

On February 16th, the gates will open at 8:30am with the first event starting at 9:30am and on February 17th and 18th, the gates will open at 8am with the first event starting at 9am

Tickets

General admission tickets will cost $10 with pre-K children admitted free and can be purchased digitally through gofan.

Tickets can also be purchased in person at the aquatic center with cash or credit card.
