TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) – Our Wednesday’s Child is only eight this week. His name is Bradley and, as Lori Hutchinson tells us, he needs a forever family for him to open their hearts and their home.
The Kansas Children’s Discovery Center is the perfect place for all the kids, but especially for 8-year-old Bradley. She does well in second grade and looks forward to science class. “It’s fun. Sometimes we do science and we do math and we do iPads.
His favorite part of the day?
“iPad and science. Because you can experience things that you don’t actually experience.
Bradley also enjoys swimming and playing with his toys and game system. He also likes to relax or play outside.
“I watch TV, I play, I ride my bike.”
Bradley has high hopes for the future by becoming a boy in blue and helping his community.
“A corrections officer, because I think police officers are great.”
Something else that’s cool: family. Bradley hopes to be adopted and get the lift he needs to grow from a lovely boy to a happy, healthy young man.
“A large family. It’s because I have a large family. I like it, I like enjoying time with them.
If you can give a child a family of his own, call Adopt Kansas Kids at 877-457-5430 or go to adoptkskids.org. They also feature children on the Adopt Kansas Kids Facebook page. They have photos and biographies of all the children, as well as ways to take the first step towards providing a child with a place to call home.
